I always wanted to model the Elven village as portrayed on the Lord of the Rings. Early last year I had a request and wanted to make them, but was always too busy to work on them. A few months ago I came across a link in Turborsquid.com here:

After I saw that I thought I am too late. Well after looking at the whole series and the fact that those models are anywhere from 45,000 to 250,000 verts, I took up the challenge of making a set for AW that was low in verts so the models don't lag you to death or freeze you on download. You may of course buy them there and do the conversion to rwx, but trust me once you got those loaded into your world, you may never have any visitors except for the diehard who enjoy typing a few words in between freeze-ups, and that's fine if that is what you want.
Here is the full Rivendell village from the movie. I have 2 pictures I will share with you.
The first model I made was the watermill to see if I can make one that is as good looking as what is available on the web. I think I succeeded. mine is 4218 verts complete with bridge, gears and water trough, compared to the one on the 3D site that is 79,000. Next I attempted the inn, it is 7,400 instead of 228,000. The plan is to make most of the buildings you see in the pictures above and then have a build set that lets you make smaller houses and other things for the village.
